Day 72 - Second Hundred of the Obama Administration July 10, 2009

The President began his day with a meeting with a working breakfast with members of the G-8 and representatives of eight African states.

President Obama then attended a working meeting wtih the same groups.

South African President Jacob Zuma and the President Obama then had a one on one meeting.

President Obama then delivered a statement on the enviromentThe President then held a Press Confernce. Remarks

The President then a had short meeting with Carkial Tarcisio Bertone followed by a one on one meeting with Pope Benedict XVI.

The First Family then had an audience with the Pope

The President and First Lady then departed Rome in route to Accra, Ghana, where they arrived at 9:20 PM.
