The President began his day with his economic and security brieifngs. He then met with his senoir advisors.

The President then delivered remarks promoting the energy bill and promotong greater energy efficiency. Remarks

In the afternoon the President had a one on one meeting with President Uribe of Columbia. That meeting was then expanded to include staff. Both then made themselves available for questions from the press. Remarks

The President and First Lady then hosted a reception for LGBT Pride month.

In the evening the President attended a reception for the National Finance Committee members.
