The President began his day with his daily security briefings. He then traveled to the National Institue of Health. He toured the facility and then gve a major speech on the economy. Speech

When the President returned to the White House he met with his senior advisors. He then signed the Arnold Palmer Gold Medal Act.

The President then had a long meeting with his advisors as well as senior official including US Ambassadors to Pakistan and Afghanistan, as well as his full nationlal security team to review American policy in the region.
