The President began the day with his daily security brieifing. That was followed by an economic briefing. He then had extended meetings with his staff.

In the afternoon the President delivered remarks at an event honoroing the 2008 Sprnt Cup Champion .

The President then participated in a conference call with faith leaders on health insurance reform
