Day 282 Obama Administration October 28, 2009

The President began his day with his daily economic and security briefings. He then delivered remarks at the Congressional Gold Medal Ceremony in honor of former Senator Edward William Brooke

The Presdient and Vice President then had lunch together.

The President then met with members of the intelligence community.

Presdient Obama next signed the Defense Authroization Act for 2010

The President and Vice President then met with Secratary of Defense Gates

Presdient Obama then met with his senior advisors.

He then attended a tree signing ceremony

THe Presdient ended his public day at a reception commemorating the enactment of the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Hate Crimes Prevention Act
