Daily Life of Israelites

The Israelites when they arrived in the Land of Israel were nomadic people. There primary alliance was to there tribe. Over a period of time their society was transformed into a more traditional agriculatural society with families having there own land. As time went on the Israelte society became increasingly urban, with a greater percentage of the population living in villages and towns. As a result a class of merchants and artisans developed.
