Sea Hawk

Sea Hawk, a wooden boat built during 1917 by the Herreshoff Mfg. Co., Bristol, R.I., was acquired by the United States Navy on 20 October 1917 from Arthur Winslow of Boston, and was placed in service shortly afterward.

During World War I, Sea Hawk operated on patrol duty within the 1st and the 7th Naval Districts. Placed out of service at the war's end, she disappeared on the night of 9 and 10 September 1919 during a hurricane at Key West. Sea Hawk was struck from the Navy list on 5 December 1919.
