1957 Glenn Crosses US in 3 Hours

Major John Glenn of the US Marines set a new record when he crossedthe US in 3 hours and 23 minutes averaging a speed of 723 MPH. Glenn flew a Navy Vought Crusader. The flight originated in Los Angeles and ended in New York.
