| The early crises of the United States such as the Genet Mission, and the Quasi War with France are carefully examined. The creation of Washington D.C., the election of Thomas Jefferson & The Tripolitan War are highlighted. America’s westward expansion is documented with presentations on the Louisiana Purchase and a special section on the Journey of Lewis and Clark (a digital adaptation of a 19th century pamphlet on the expedition).
